29. Sections 5 to 7.3 apply to persons who, at a referendum, carry out the duties corresponding to those referred to in those sections.

For that application:

(1)  “election” means the referendum;

(2)  “returning officer” means the clerk or clerk-treasurer or the person replacing him;

(3)  (subparagraph revoked);

(4)  (subparagraph revoked).
